I have so enjoyed reading everyone's stories and seeing all those pictures! Wow, you all have the cutest kids!!!
I earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Lehigh University. At the time, my ambition was to make it big. After college, I went to work in Industrial Sales and made a lot of money. Life seemed good.
Soon afterward I learned that my father was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease. I was so devastated. I turned to religion, attended mass regularly and even joined the choir. Nothing seemed to help and I didn't feel any closer to God, and I wondered whether God even existed. I was searching for meaning in life.
Finally, I found it. Yes, I was looking for love, but instead of relationships, I found the unconditional love of God in Jesus Christ. I finally understood that my sincere religion did not earn me favor with God and that according to the Bible: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." I accepted God's gift of salvation. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Well, fast-forward several years... my life now completely changed and my soul eternally secure. I no longer need money, circumstance, and things to be happy. And, I now experience the love of God and the joy of salvation like Jesus Christ intended for us. I find joy reading my bible and praying to the Lord. My husband, Jeff, has been to Bible College and is a God called preacher of the gospel. We are currently traveling around the country in a truck that earns our living, but we take opportunities often to tell others about the Lord. No kids yet, but we have a Mini-Schnauzer named Molly. I enjoy playing the Flute, Piano, and Harp. We currently live in Randleman, North Carolina.
