Hmmm, let's see... after spending 6 months in Nigeria & getting an Anthropology BA, I got an MFA in Dance, then trained in trapeze. I started my own flying dance company, Trapezius Aerial Dance in 1995. We had a very successful & exciting decade traveling & performing around the U.S. (based in Philadelphia). I've also maintained both a part-time university teaching position & a private fitness practice since 1993.
Being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor put a dent in things, however, and I finally had to close Trapezius down this spring. After two brain surgeries I'm a little worse for wear, but still kickin'. I'm heading out to the Grand Canyon with my dog to hike & rest & figure out where I'm headed next, so stay tuned... Glad to hear what you're all up to.
See you in October -
Louise
