1985	MORE RECENT

Hello All,

Here's the condensed version of the last 20 years: Graduated from Southwest Texas State in 1989 with a BFA in graphic design. Proceeded to work in advertising and publishing. While my portfolio was ho-hum, I did meet one hell of a great guy on a job, and after an extensive 4-day engagement, Corey Isbell and I eloped in Vegas in 1995.

In my ongoing craving for change, I switched to health and fitness training in 1997. (Much better than sitting on my arse in a cube all day!) Then in 2001, after too many years in Texas, we sold the house, packed everything in storage, and hit the road with our mutts; spent a couple of months on the road exploring, visiting friends and family, then we placed our bets and landed in Portland, Oregon.

Life is good! Corey is a writer and builder. I have my own personal training business, work for Portland Parks and Rec, and teach classes on crafting home and garden accessories from recycled/reclaimed materials. (Think mosaic garden art, handmade rugs, lamps and lanterns. etc.)

We LOVE Portland! In addition to its good beer, proximity to the mountains, ocean, wine country and its great sense of community, where else can you live with an extinct volcano in your neighborhood that provides great views of the city, Mt Hood and sunsets? Sweet!
