After high school I went to Vassar for a year - then transferred to Yale, after which I got a Masters in Education and went on to teach middle school English History & health. Next I got certified in school administration/supervision, but soon realized that wasn't for me and I began writing instead. Today I write, consult with schools and libraries and lead creative writing workshops for adults out of our home in Dobbs Ferry. I met my husband Gregg when I was living and teaching in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We've been married 11 years and have 2 kids - Jonah 8 and Eva 6. We'll be at the reunion when I'm looking forward to reconnecting with old friends!
